This trio

is enough to break my brain.

(Haachan and Yonechan are my two favourite original B girls after Nacchan and Mayu, and both in my top ten, so I tend to group them together in my head. When I see them together I get excited, and the same goes when I see either of them with Nacchan. The three of them together? alskdjfghjdks.)

Congratulations, my beautiful baby, on making it to 26 in the senbatsu election once again! I’m really proud of her. She has a sustainable fanbase that wants to see her succeed and was willing to fight for it - two years in a row. The big difference between this year and last year - when she also placed 26th - is that this year she had 4106 votes, compared to 1216 last year. The number of votes grew an INSANE amount this year; last year, the only person to break the 4k mark was Acchan. Seeing Nacchan keep her place while gaining a HUGE number of votes is a wonderful thing, and I am so happy for her. And I’m proud of her, even if amazing, talented girls never making it into Undergirls proves that it’s strictly a popularity contest, and even if being unpopular does not mean being a lesser idol. I’m proud that she has been able to build this fanbase and show management, once again, that this fanbase exists and loves her. And I’m proud of her for working hard all these years in AKB and as Warota’s de facto leader. She is amazing, she has worked so hard for so long, and she deserves to hold a good position. <3

She said in her speech that she wants to lose weight in the hopes of making it into senbatsu next year. She does not need to do this. She is BEAUTIFUL the way she is. Her body type gives her some advantages over other girls in the group, too - lovely thighs and a bigger chest than most of the other girls. (Whatever, it’s my Nacchan blog, I’LL SAY IT IF I WANT TO.) If she needs to lose weight in order to be happy with her own body, then I’ll understand completely and support her. But doing it to get into senbatsu probably wouldn’t even work, because senbatsu is more fickle than that. Improving yourself isn’t enough; circumstances have to align just so in order for a non-senbatsu girl to move up into senbatsu. Plus, I don’t want her feeling like she has to change for other people. So baby, please know that you are beautiful and sexy exactly the way you are, and you don’t need to change a thing about yourself to be loved by fans. You are perfect, and those who recognize that will continue to support you no matter what!

Maybe it’s just me, but in her blog pictures from the last week or so, I feel like Nacchan’s bangs look a bit different. In some of them they look normal, but in others I see a difference.
