A few days (weeks?) ago, I downloaded scans of Maimi’s Winter Concert solo PB. If you haven’t already done so, you should. Lots of Maimithigh.

If this was a unit, I’d buy everything they put out, and then some. They’d be High-King, but with less squeaky fail.

Oh, come on, I can’t have been the only one to have read that manga? You know, the one where Momo sleeps with that dude, and everyone’s yelling at him, “YOU GIGOLO!” My friend borrowed it from a library and read it to me…until a teacher found us reading it and made my friend not bring it to school again. Oh, well, anyway. Onto the other Peach Girl, known as the Great Peachy One, etc, etc, etc. (I can’t believe I didn’t get how she got that nickname until now. *dumbass*)

I’m gonna totally get shot for this, but I don’t like this PB as much as I like Airi’s. Neither Miyabi or Momoko have managed to impress me with their PBs the way Airi did. There was something very compelling about Airi’s stares in those shots. Miyabi’s and Momoko’s are just what we’ve come to expect from H!P - good amounts of bouncy, cheerful fun with a touch of bikini added in. (By the way, seeing the H!P kids in bikinis disturbed me more than seeing Nacchi in one. Because even if Nacchi has no sex appeal, at least she’s old enough to not make me feel perverted for looking…even if it’s in a totally businesslike manner.) Read more »

Wow. What an original title. Maybe she’ll get something more creative around her third, fourth book.

The photobook is fairly typical H!P. There aren’t a whole lot of beach sets, but the ones that are there have her jumping around in the water, having fun, wearing a bikini, etc. She’s laughing in pretty much every shot, except for a couple indoor sets where apparently she’s trying to be serious.
