Over at AVN's blog, pornographer Mark Kulkis explains why he and Mary Carey attended that Republican fundraiser. I admire the clearheaded way he made this decision and the mild gloating over drawing a rift within the Republican party. I can't think of any other notable rifts between the religious right and the big money wings of the party, though I'm sure there must've been some. Whatever the case, maybe this'll make more adult industry folks participate in Republican events and hopefully carve a political identity for themselves as well as a cultural one.
