This is great: President Bush will be at a Republican fundraiser which will also be attended by pornographer Mark Kulkis and porn star / California gubernatorial candidate Mary Carey. It's a two-day event called The 2005 President's Dinner and Salute to Freedom: Bush will be there one day, Karl Rove the next. Tickets are five thousand dollars apiece.

Apparently, the adult industry is worried about crackdowns from the government. This is a genius way to fight back: buy into the Republican party and make your economic influence known. When politics starts meddling with art, art should meddle in politics.

Now, take out the word "art" in that last sentence and replace it with "smut".
