It’s been many years since I started telling myself (and other people, for that matter) that I was going to lose weight. I have to–I have torn ligaments in both ankles, and my doctor said that my weight is doing nothing but adding stress to them and making them even worse. But even hearing that news, I couldn’t change my habits-I was too lazy, and worst of all…too hungry.
But recently I’ve really been thinking about it, about how much better my life would be if I finally knocked off those pounds. I’ve made adjustments to my diet, but now is the fun part- I need to find a way to exercise without going to the gym.
And that’s where H!P comes in.
My goal is to lose 40lbs- or 18kg, for those who run on metric solely. I haven’t set myself a time limit yet, just that I know I want to have this weight gone before I take a trip to Japan.
My daily exercise time will be dedicated to learning H!P dances. I think this is the best way to motivate myself! And to keep everyone up to date, every time I learn a new dance I’ll post it to youtube so you can see my progress. The dance I’m starting with is S/mileage’s Uchouten Love, so when I’ve reached my goal of losing 40lbs I’ll record that dance again in the same outfit so everyone can see the difference!
I’m making this challenge public because I really feel like I won’t be able to accomplish this without support. But I need to now-and what better way to motivate myself than with my favorite idols?
Anyway, onto the challenge.
Starting weight: 194lb (87kg)
Goal weight: 150lb (68kg)
Time limit: None as of yet

I’m actually really nervous about posting this/coming out like this about my weight, it’s the one thing I’ve always been self conscious of, but I believe that with your support I’ll really be able to accomplish my goal in a H!P style!
Anyway here is my first dance cover!! It’s terrible and awkward but what can I do? lol, I hope I’ll have improved by the time I’ve reached my goal. Also, I’ll have you know, I had very limited recording time so I could only record it twice, not that it’s a very good excuse for my mistakes lol
